This whole thread has creeped me out on the Miyota 9015 versions of the 15400. At first, I liked it, in principle: it is thin, it is efficient, it looks better than the 2824, it is decorated--and the new version has sunken bezel screws. But now with the breakdowns and the noisy rotors, I am thinking: where am I going to get replacement parts for this movement? When I can easily get high-grade 2824s from Switzerland with more than 50 hours power reserve and within COSC, why do I want to switch to a Miyota 9015? From pure convenience, I might just go with the 2824 and do the swap to ETA.
