Unwrapping my first one... 177L from Lay!

Great reputation in this forum and my trust was well rewarded. He has been extremely communicative.

Anyway, from start to end it was around 9 days for me to receive the watch. Could be that its close to CNY. Was also advised its better for next order to be after CNY to avoid delays.

Here we go:

AR's great and is colourless. The way I like it.

You guys aren't kidding when you say it has the best lume out of the factory!!!

Its even so visible indoors - daytime with some curtains drawn.

My next order shall be a 236k. All steel with bracelet. That will satisfy my weighty beefy feel and feed my preference for bracelet type watches, and befitting that it would be the more complicated looking chrono also.

The 177L being more simple and clean in design will serve to feel my titanium fetish and also being a darker colour than steel, be my playground to experiment with various leather straps.

BTW, for my purpose above, in the sense of a full SS watch being a good keeper and accurate replica, is the 236k the best choice?

yup, the 236 is a fantastic choice for what you mentioned.
and yes, that's probably the best one in that category.
