Guess I'll go have to find a Noob ETA at a good price...

:D

treeman answered it. Same movement.
There was one for $150 but he withdrew it from RWI. I think it's still there in RWG.

Oh - just checked. It's sold (DVN is the id on RWG)

I can get noobmariner regular (for black sub) and maxi (for LV sub) dials and ETA hand sets for both subs too. Sorry no datewheel overlay though.

very good.....

Can u tell me,. I am thinking of doin gmy own CG as well.

If u use a file... the CGs are flat on the inside.???

Do u have a pic of the CG looking from straight from the crown.??
So I can see if the CGs are flat ( straight) on the inside..

My reps are currently a bit curves on the inside.

tnx in advance

Looks damm good.
The Noobmariner Datewheel isn't any better than the TW one.
The numbers are too big and not good alligned...
To change only the pearl is a good idea on the Insert
I think to change Tube and crown is the most importend mod,not really visible but very nice to winding....
All in all fantastic work, keep us updated...

PS to all of you,
you can get also Pauls Perfect Sub for the Parts.
Same watch as the noobmariner but eta powered...
So its an easy change for the whole movement dial ...
Bracelet is also good

You should be sanding the inner, front part of the CGs. That's a straight line when viewed from the front. Pretty clear from Vmena's picture. The inside viewed from the side, which you shouldn't touch, curves around the crown.

For example, again from Vmena's picture, it's clear that the inner lines of the noobmariner CGs are more slanted than the gen's. You need to bring those lines straighter.

Take care not making the inner line too straigh as I did with the noobmariner:

It's clear you can not use a flat file... must be rounded or even better cylinder shaped.

All awesome info bk! Thank You....I plan to do the noob movement/dial/hands and the bracelet for now.

I am very scared to mess with the cg's and to be perfectly honest with you I am pretty darn happy with my ttk mbw right out of the box (mine is LV as you know), I know it has it's faults un-modded but I have put it side by side to my other reps (including a Paul's So Called Perfect and a Josh $188) and there is something about the MBW that beats them all...that rehaut/bezel/crystal...just the overall look of the watch. I am very happy with mine.

The only thing that gets to me is the date wheel and the solid bracelet but that will be solved with the noob. Basically for a grand total of $450 ($350 for MBW & $100 for noob) I end up with two watches. A noob with MBW parts inside and an MBW with noob parts inside that will look awesome! I don't think that's too bad. ;) Thanks again for the info.

As i stated before, buy Pauls perfect Sub it is the same as the noobmariner but Eta powered...
Make a lathejob on the MBW bezel and the Insert snaps in like gen..

tribal, yup... I already have a Pauls So Called Perfect which I plan to use the entire movement/dial/hands...then I will put the MBW's movement/dial/hands in the Pauls and have 2 watches...I will knock around with the Pauls and wear the MBW for special occasions ;)
