If you change the date between the hours of 10PM and 2AM (which is when the auto date change mechanism for the A7750 is engaged), you run the risk of damaging the mechanism. What will happen is that you will never be able to use the crown to change the date, instead you will have to deal with moving the minutes hand around and around until the date changes to the one you need. Imagine if the date today was the 21st and the date is on 22, you would have to go through a whole month's worth of turning the crown, not a pleasant thing to do.

LOL Well if in a pinch, you could just set the correct time. Just make sure you don't read the date. :)

It's not just the a7750, I would always set the time as 6am before changing the date with quickset on any movement, Asian or otherwise
