Unreg, I have question regarding the size of your watch. The cheap one I currently own is 41.5mm by 55mm. I believe this is the true XL. Is your version this size or is it 38.5mm by 44mm?

Very very long discussion on WC regarding the differences between this and the gen if anyone is interested.
Essentially the dial is pretty damn close and not as large a flaw as some thought. The bevel on the crystal is the biggest tell, but can be replaced with OEM/non-OEM pieces on eBay.

I asked Hont awhile back of he could get me a Cartier santos with the black rubber strap and he said no. Evertone kept telling me he could get real nice reps. But if he is so good, then how come he couldnt me a watch that so many other dealers sell?
Because you asked him to get it with the RUBBER strap... only the ladies rep is available with the rubber strap.
I assume you mean that Hont can only get the ladies because there are other dealers who sell the mens. Unfortunately I had to return one dealer's rep of bad quality. WE sells one. I know one of the other dealers sells it but for some odd reason it has a blue crown where it should be black like the gen. I may try WE, I'm still thinking.
Nope, what I meant is that you asked for the rubber strap and Hont said he doesn't have the newest model with a rubber strap, since there is no rubber strap for the Mens Santos, like the one being reviewed in this thread. Hont can get you ANY watch that's being offered by other dealers.
No, I did not want the newest model. I dont even know what that looks like. What i asked Hont for was this same Santos 100 21J version from the WE site and he said he couldnt get it.

Maybe he misunderstood but I sent him a pic from the WE site. I always try to send pics, that way its understood as to what i want. That's how I got it from Silix - i sent him the same WE pic and then he sent me pics when he received the watch.
It was probably 6 weeks ago when I asked Hont for this watch so you may be confusing me with someone else who was looking for the same watch, I dont know. But i do remember him saying he couldnt get it. Otherwsie I woud have tried to get it from him because he was highly recommended
that's what I thought after many recommended him. On the other hand, he has had some so-so reviews lately. A few reps have arrived with poor qc apparently. I'm discovering through reading threads and my own limited experience that it can be a hit or miss and it all comes down to the supplier and a dealer's reputation lives or dies by it
What's with all the weight questions people have been asking lately? I doubt everyone in the street is walking with a scale waiting for you to take your watch off so they can weight it.
Love it, really really nice. Couple of questions for Cartier experts. Issue/question 1. That sucker looks way too big for my wrist, is there a smaller version w/o being too small? I know it's a Goldilocks question but I couldn't pull it off with that size.
Question 2. Is that style offered with a date feature in a smaller size of course?
Finally, can it be obtained with date/smaller and with the stainless band? I'm seriously interested in this in a way that I can not even begin to explain. I'd like to get the best version possible. Books and box not important to me. Thanks if anyone has answers and where to go regarding purchase.
