U1 Factory Watches I'm a newbie.

Hi all, please forgive my ignorance but I am new to replica watches but learning as I go.
I've currently purchased a Hulk Sub and also a Day date from U1 Factory. The quality of the face seems very good compared to the usual AAA quality.

I have a few questions for you guys.

If I was to buy a 904L Strap could I change that onto the U1 Face?
If I bought a 3135 Rep movement could I again replace that inside the U1 Face would it be a direct fit?

What is your thoughts on U1 Factory and what advice would you give on purchasing my next watch for my collection?

If I can do all of the above maybe someone can give me some links to where to buy these parts from?

WRT to your questions - IMO...

Strap (bracelet): It's probably not worth it. The difference between 904 and 316 is indistinguishable, so the difference would be in the quality of the bracelet finish, because it would be from a "premium" factory. However, there's no guarantee that the SEL fit of the better bracelet would be good on the U1, so it would probably end up looking worse than the one supplied with the watch.

You won't be able to swap in a 3135. The U1 will be powered by a 2813 (or equivalent) movement, which will mean the dial feet would need removing and the hands won't fit the 3135.

The U1 watches are normally good value for the price. But they're at a budget price point, and won't compare macro (or very close) comparison with a rep that costs 4 or 5 times more. If you decide you'd like to upgrade, then rather than trying to mod the U1, you would be better off buying new from a TD here, or waiting for a watch to come up M2M.

But see how you feel about the U1 when it arrives. You might be impressed, and decide no further upgrade is necessary!

The U1 arrived and the quality is actually good for the value! Only downside for me is the movement as you say its 2183 Chinese movement. Thanks for the advice above regarding the changing of parts.

I would not mod a U1

If you want a budget Sub- check out the ZZF Junior (if still around, they recently changed to Clean Factory)

Thanks, do you do them on here? I also have another question U1 Movment can hear spinning not a lot only rare and its not that noisy when you say "spin" or flick the watch is this normal on all replicas?

I do not have experience with a 21j movement, but if you hear it slightly it is normal. If it is very loud, maybe you can have it oiled to quiet it down or swap out the rotor.

Sometimes U1 is actually a nice option ... If it was CHS I wouldn't even bother looking at getting a "nicer" rep. FWIW this is on an ARF bracelet as the stock jubilee has incorrect sels

If you buy one of the Juniors, you can have the clockwork oiled by a watchmaker for 20-30usd, you have a watch that is priced 3x your U1 but qualitatively 10x your U1

I'm not sure but a loud rotor mostly means Japanese myota work. These rotors are louder because they only wind in one direction. (Errors and omissions excepted).
Oil directly on the ball bearing as far as I know).

Not only does the automatic drive require maintenance, but the ratchet wheel mostly, as these movements are assembled in very dry rooms and little / no / the wrong oil is used.

I would have a watchmaker do this for little money (20-30).

Errors excepted in everything, but that's how I did it.
The dry ratchet wheel is expressed by the rotation of the rotor when manually opening in horizontal operation as well as by the "sandy" feeling.

ZF hulk. Best replica hulk dial. Just ask for better SEL. Idk why some look terrible and some look terrific.

BP factory will be your best option for daydates. Not perfect in colour but definitely gold colour better than any rep. Stay away from rose gold models.

Unfortunately you missed the chance to buy a noob Daytona with clone 4130 movement.

ARF datejust for 36mm models.

Check out the Air King. Classy looking buggers IMO.

So I've been looking at U1 watches on DhGate, and reading Reddit pertaining to them, it appears that U1 has become such a purchase magnet sellers are slapping U1 hangtags on every watch that is not really U1, so you don't know what you're getting.
