With what tools has the belt changed?
A screwdriver with a star head?
Anybody know where to buy replacement lugs for the U-51. Mine was very fragile and broke. Maybe a spring solution as i find these tbars are very fragile. Thanks guys!

A beautiful watch !
I am waiting to see what these beauties look like with a patina ...nobody seems to be doing the egg thing and I would be wary of dunking it in lemon juice myself.

That's coming along nicely ... is it natural or was any trickery involved.
Has anybody had theirs water-proof tested ?
I did give it some help! Sealed it in a plastic container of heavily salted water, then left it out in the sun for a couple of days. The watch was not in the water, but resting above it.
I have not submerged it at all, so have no idea to what extent it is water resistant.

I doubt a watch like that is waterproof with all the buttons ..I could be wrong. I'm sure fumes will do just as well only take longer
I found a very interesting way of creating a darkish patina on my 382 Bronzo by using a mixture of water and swimming pool chlorine. I don't think anybody has ever mentioned using chlorine as a patina agent. The salt or some vinegar will produce that awesome light blue patina.
