I have purchased two watches, first one was a Cartier Ballon Bleu 33 AF A076 cal for the Mrs., followed by a VSF 126622 YM Rhodium VS3235 for myself.
Lucy was outstanding in both transactions if you know what to expect and manage your expectations accordingly. I did my research here on the forum first and contacted several TDs about the watches I was interested in. Lucy's communication was outstanding throughout the whole process on both watches - her responses are sometimes so detailed that they look like mini-essays rather than the standard one sentence (at best) or one word (at worst) responses you get from another TDs. That being said, her responses while very detailed and on point are not instant, which is understandable if you look at it as running a business and trying to stay competitive (her prices for both watches were either the lowest of the TDs I could find or within a few dollars more, but the extra services she includes for you makes it worth it even if you are paying slightly above the cheapest possible price your can find from repwatch-grade TDs. Expect to get responses faster when you are inquiring about your watch, and the responses to slowdown once she is in the process of getting the watch, QC, and her watchmaker doing the magic on the watch for you. This is all to be expected once again - she will naturally respond faster to get your business, once the business is done and there is not much to communicate or update you on the response time will slowdown until she actually has updates to communicate so that she can take care of the new customers that are inquiring about the watches.
Your mileage may wary, but my timeles for both orders were as follows:
Cartier BB-
March 25 - Initial contact (first time rep buyer, so lots of questions, all of which were answered to the T)
March 27 - Payment Sent
April 4 - QC Pictures received - I requested video and timegrapher readings which were not sent with the first batch of pictures
April 16 - Response from Lucy (this was my first order so I was getting a bit worried after not receiving additional QC items I requested for almost 2 weeks) - she had a family issue she had to deal with and had a backlog of things she was working on, but promised to get my additional requested QC ASAP
April 17 - additional video and timegrapher readings received, order GLd.
April 22 - tracking number
May 2 - watch received without any issues
YM Rhodium -
May 7 - initial inquiry and back and forth with factory recommendations
May 8- payment sent
May 13 - informed by Lucy that she got the watch but she RLd it because of the calendar change issue and ordered me another watch from a new batch (I did not get QC for that first watch, and neither I wanted to - this is what Lucy is known for, incredibly good QC).
May 16 - lucy said she has my new watch and it looks good and is being serviced by her watchmaker
May 26 - QC received (with timegrapher readings this time, which were perfect after being serviced). I also requested that this watch be waterproofed and tested, and requested proof that it was done, as well as a video of date change and bezel rotation. Lucy said the watch was perfect but there was a small speck of dust on the dial that I would probably not even be able to pick-up myself from the photos. She highlighted it herself and said her watchmaker took care of that and that now it is "flawless" as flawless as that rep can be.
June 3 - video showing date change and day jump and bezel rotation provided, video of complete water test provided passing with flying colors. GLd same day
June 4 - Tracking number
June 18 - watch in my hand
Overall, I would highly recomend Lucy to anyone who is not in rush and does not want to overpay much while getting the best QC and other services as possible. I am looking forward to Pelagos Ultra release to place a third order with Lucy.
