I was right! But again, why? The first movement dates back to the 80s and the other one was designed in 1953...

I'm no watchmaker nor have i skills in modding etc. but wouldn't it be possible to use it as a base for the Calibre 2121 by adding a date function and an automatic module for the 15202 ultra thin?

This is just weird if it checks out. There are no "best selling" watches that are using these movements. All models that had these are discontinued afaik

Here watchbus clarifies which is the gen movement JF bought.
looks like it could work for a ultra thin movement... maybe they add an automatic module and date complication and throw it into a decent 15202. overall look is OK compared to the 2121 calibre from the 15202...

don't know if its possible, but lets wait till the end of 2017
