I may be wrong, but have been researching the pelagos recently and I believe the 2 line dial is from 2012 from initial tudor release using an ETA movement. In 2015 they cam eout with the 5 line dial for their own in house Tudor movement.
I personally would want a blue 2 line dial, since the rep will have an Asian ETA in it, that would be more realistic to the 2012 ETA based version :)
Bad thing, is that when I start researching a watch, I usually end up buying it. Which is very bad since I just bought a gen Rolex and am now broke.

lol I'm damn near tempted to buy a new gen with in house tudor movement but I'm broke after that Rolex and my 6.75" wrists might not be able to stand the heft of that mighty blue beast

Try the rep out first. Go for an eta version if you go gen imo

That's what I thought too, but for a "Rolex" little brother or any other major swiss brand, it's a little silly to me not to have an in house movement when we can have swiss ETA's in our reps.
But... my BK has a swiss ETA and it keeps just as good time as my gen Rolex movement datejust so... who knows.
I did read on tudor website that the new in house movement has 70 hour power reserve and a lot of added features to the movement that should increase it's durability and shock resistance.
It hasn't been out long enough to see how that holds up though.
tough tough decision. Think I'll just try the rep out first haha.
I really just want it for my summer vacation. I'd buy another CRPO Noob and put on Casino Royale tang rubber bracelet, but then I thought the fake helium valve on those may compromise water resistance?
What are your thoughts on that?

Crpo should be able to be water proofed. Hev can be sealed.

You'll have to send the in house movement to tudor for servicing. The eta version you could have serviced anywhere.

Why did omega switch to coaxial when the 1120 movenent is so good? Just for bragging rights. I think in house is cool but do you want to pay extra for it?
