I've heard quite a few people getting a reasonable wr after the seals have been greased. As for my specific watch I believe I got super lucky that it held this well.

Hoow did you even get the mvt, dial out. I can't even get the holder/mvt out at all. I want to grease or seal up the hev on my zf.

There are 2 screws with movement holder tabs under tham that needs to be removed (see red circles in photo). Mine was wedged in real well, just make sure when you pull you don't bend those tabs.

All seals were greased as if the service was done by an AD. The shop I used to take it to used to deal only in fine jewelry and Rolex. They no longer sell Rolex but were happy to service a rep. I'm guessing becausethe shop directly next to them is the areas new AD and they are pissed haha.

Today my local AD tested my ZF Pelagos to 10 atm and it passed whitout problems. In my opinion any Pelagos should be waterproof. Just need to check!

How did you remove the HEV to clean and regrease the o-ring(s)? I've had my v6 apart to put an new eta 2824 (elabore) in so have seen the inside of the bare case. The valve is spring loaded and moves outward when pushed with a pegwood tip. Is there a special wrench required to dismantle and reinstall the HEV? I've never messed with a HEV before, but would like to clean it up like you did and put some watch gasket silicone on it for an added measure of protection. Thanks in advance for anything you'd be willing to share.

don´t know if it helps but my Black Bay Blue was tested by watchsmith last month with a 10ATM-Tester and passed great without any greasing etc... just like it came from TD
He said 20ATM should be also no prob but the tester was not good for.

So I think also the "better diving-Reps" are mostly good for swimming out of box, before diving should be better to let it greas/ seal by a watchsmith.

On the V6 is pretty much stationary.

BTW, just tested the V6 case set to 7ATM with no issues. I did a dry gasket test first to 4ATM with no problems then cranked it up to 7ATM no issues. The HEV on this case is pretty much stationary and does not push out or in. Didn't epoxy it or anything. So far so good.
