Just got my KW v2, I also have a v1 which I bought few months ago.
v2 is way better in terms of color, lume and engraving. And it's hardly distinguished from the gen compared to v1 which is too blue. The color in pics can't show the actual blue color in the real thing.

The lesson is, from now on I'll never plan to get any v1 products from KW.

hi you got the v6f v2 blue ? can you do a review ?

Pretty much every rep watch has some degree of play (my v7 sub had it, my kw Tudor bronze has, my ZF Tudor BB red has, my noob CRPO has, my breitling chronomat evo has....I can't be that unlucky ;))

I am not sure about that statement.....I have seen some really tight bezels with not play at all, maybe we are the unlucky ones :cry2:..... One thing that I have learned on this hobby is not to pick a "big dealer" if you are really a nitpicking person. Big dealers are too busy in order to pay attention to every order. You better pick a not big dealer and ask him/her to pay attention for some especific flaws...

I dunno mate..maybe, but most folks over here also typically say that they have play in their bezels....everyone says that it is not a difficult fix (rather easy to be honest if you have the skills) but I am the least handy man in the whole wide world and would love to send all of my watches to a modder who would only fix my bezels for me.

I tried different dealers (well 2 only, and both times I specified my concern about the bezels and results have been the same...and I was told that this is as good as it gets). Having said that, my $150-$300 range Gens (seikos, tissots, citizens, tissots) would have no play what so ever and super tight bezel...so I am not sure what the problem is wiht out $300 + reps....Having said that, there are bunch of youtube videos with high end gens (omegas, breitlings, etc) with bezel play...I have learned how to live with it but as I said, I would be happy to pay (as long as it is reasonable) for fixing all of my bezels.

TC has written an in depth explanation as to the difficulty of matching the Gen bezel feel. I realize you are talking about the Tudor’s but I suspect the problem is similar. Here is the link to the thread.

I don't mean to come across as I am accusing any particular factory or a marketing person but do y'all really think that the Pelagos in the pic is a gen? What gen Pelagos comes shrink wrapped? There is another kw branded comparison pic for he Tudor bb bronze and I get the exact feeling on that one too (the one that is claimed to be a gen is just another kw if you ask me...this is a lot more obvious in that Tudor bb bronze thread). I hope I am wrong :/

I never posted again but I pretty much confirmed that they are both reps (if you look closely you will see the glue marks on the so called gen)

maybe to deceive how "good" their rep ist ;)

this shrink wrapping is for me strange too, and the "price tag"

okay, maybe to protect the gen but I dont think so... when a gen is fully dissected, there is nothing more to do with the gen...

I trust more when a member here is comparing a gen with a rep...

Agreed! There is a thread where gen is compared with the ZF (I'm sure you have seen it) and that made the choice easy for me for a ZF :)

Okay, we will see :)
I am going to resurrect this somewhat dead thread but I ended up with rejecting all of the QC pics of the ZF and did not get a pelagos afterall. Every single watch from ZF had HORRIBLE hour markers...I mean, terrible!

I am now desperately waiting for someone to post a pic of the KW version so that we can all see how it stacks up (KW quality is typically superior to ZF)
