I’m confused, if it isn’t on the rep at all, what’s this on @paul.co ‘s Pelagos 39 here, that isn’t a paint mix, that’s a sunburst effect isn’t it?

It’s true that this one has the correct sunburst effect like on the gen, but please keep in mind that mine is a TUF, not the ZF.
Ah ok my bad, I never spotted the difference in factory. So TUF dial in ZF case would work?

Can’t 100% confirm it fits perfectly, but overall that should be the best combo at this point, or until the ZF will release a V2.

Thank you very much for the comparison.
I would like to know, how is the threading of the crown? Is it smooth to thread/unthread? How does setting the time with the crown feel?
And how is the micro adjust of the clasp? Dose it work smoothly?

For background, I owned a pelagos LHD but everything mentioned above felt rough.

Thanks and regards

Reviving old thread. Now that ZF released updated dial with sunburst, I would love to see the comparison against gen. Bright orange print worries me, hope it only the lighting.

I’ve been contemplating the ZF p39, and honestly the matte dial seemed attractive to me as I never love the sunburst, but cool to hear if there’s a v2 now, folks can make their own call. If these come with a A2824, is it an easy swap to put in a gen ETA if you wanted to? Or is the move just putting in a new A2824 if it has problems?
