Wow really interesting. Also just picked up a bulova super seville but i dont like the dial. Didnt find one on the internet but now i know that i can also get a tudor one, thank you very much for that info!

Just an update on this thread.

Finally 4 years since I started this thread to build my own Day Date, I have finally managed to purchase a gen Rolex day date.

I decided to take couple of pics together.

Just bear in mind, the "Tudor" build is using the Bulova Super Seville Case.
