OK I will today. Probably the best way would be to put watches one next to another and make a little movie while changing angle. The crystal in my HBB red V2 is the same as it was in V1. The HBB blue has more rounded, more flat edges (slopes?) which gives it that nice distortion instead of just that white halo.

Mine says hi. If you're on the fence go for it.

however we call it now:

V1 update -- or V1.5 -- or V1 newer batch -- or early version of the V2

....it looks much better than the BB´s from 1st batch in last November....

---> I love it and that´s why I placed my order yesterday afternoon <---

;o)

If you don't mind me asking...who did you order from. Various TD's are selling them ranging in price from $299 to $348? I can't determine if they are all from the same factory (though I don't think they are) and the extra money spent to get the best is worth it in my opinion.

There is only one factory making the watch. Some TDs are just cheaper than others but they all source it from the same maker

I would have thought you would need to remove it and file down the back but not sure I would want to DIY!

Thanks for the heads up. Another factor I'm taking into consideration besides price & quality is obviously customer service and though all of the TD's are trusted for a reason some must have certain merits over others. Who would you suggest for a buyer on the East Coast of the united States.

I got mine from ken at psychospike. Great communications and excellent QC. They even rejected the first watch they sent pics of themselves as they found a mark on the dial. Cheaper than other dealers too plus a discount for WU

So newbie question, but I just saw that Rolexlou posted a BBv2 that's been relumed by Cwazy. It seems (at least from the pics posted) that the dial now matches up with the hands. Is this one solution to solving the slightly mismatched colors? or does reluming it make it too white from gen?
