Also, is V6 and VS the same factory? Or different people all together? Thanks

Both watches have been discussed ad infinitum on here...if you're struggling with the search function, use google and include "RWI" in your search for more info

Great idea! Yes using this forum has been a pain to get a straight answer, or find any knowledge on certain topics, that's for sure! I think I'll just choose one and hope for the best 😂

Because there is no "straight" answer. Let's be honest there. Every rep has nuance.

You ask 10 different owners about this topic, you'll get 10 different answers.

And it's not so straight forward to compare different watches as reps. Pick the design you like more, don't pick the one that's "closer to gen".

Maybe a reread of the guides or my guide will help.

As @Reaps said above - I know it sounds like people are trying to be awkward, but we aren't.
The questions you've asked get asked multiple times a day about multiple different watches/factories/dealers etc.

And there really is no definitive answer to any of these questions, just which model, factory and dealer best please your eye and budget.
You sometimes will find recommendations of what to avoid - which can be helpful, but generally most mid to higher tier reps are going to have some flaws - it's up to you which ones you can live with.

FWIW, invariably, most of the "huge tells"/"big flaws" that are referred to on the forum aren't even noticeable on the wrist - they're only noticeable on here because we get to see microscopic details compared side by side with gen watches on an HD computer monitor. They also won't be noticed by 99% of the people that will ever see the watch you buy anyway!

The google trick, as I call it, has been so useful for me that sometimes I accidentally put rwi at the end of some google search in my daily life that has nothing to do with watches. Pro tip- it won’t help your non watch searches! There’s tons of reading that needs to be done here before you’re ready for more tons of reading if you want to figure out which rep is best for you- if you’re concerned with getting something as close to gen as possible try to find a rep from factory a vs. gen comparison for the watch, there are lots of them here. @Reaps sent you some really on point links above, and he’s too modest to say it but his generic guide is worth rereading until it’s memorized and can be a guide for the process of buying every watch you get.

I'll try the Google trick, I've definitely decided on a Tudor, but I'm not quite sure which one yet. Just a quick question for you if that's ok, VSF and V6F the same factory? I'm sure I read once that they just write it differently sometimes, I could be wrong though.

Thanks

I'm my opinion only
If your looking at a normal pelagos for for XF
If a pelagos 39 then ZF
I believe ZF also for black bay but I don't have one of them

They are not the same company but they are friendly with each other and seem to have some common components in some of their builds. I don’t fully understand the dynamic, but do know that they’re separate entities. Now I’m truly not saying this to be a jerk, this is actually a true story- to try to get you better info for my answer I googled ‘are vsf and v6f the same company rwi’ and this was one of the first hits https://forum.replica-watch.info/th...ubmariner-case-kit-and-serial-number.9743626/
And this was the basis for my reply.
