lol, i read it as date setting, getting old..
Isn't the crown sitting way too far out when the crown is screwed in?

I love this watch... my only issue is that my explorer 1 is as wearable and has a much better wrist presence.

I like how the BB looks more “Spartan” than the explorer. I assembled one in gold for more warmth.

Thanx for the appreciation!
This how I did it...
The dial comes from raffles ( had to reduce the diameter about half a mm, the result is that the indexes are a little bit bigger than on an usual BB36.
The movement is an old Seiko 7s26, very precise and reliable.
The hands come from Tiger Concept,
The case comes from a 45$ explorer bought on DH Gate (excellent quality except the flat crystal). I’ll use the movement and hands on another project and sold the bracelet and dial for 45$ = a free case!
The new crystal is a double dome plexy I also line distortion effect very much... it really makes the black of the dial more profound and makes the golden hands shine. Amazing improvement on the original flat one.
I’m not too keen on the real BB crown so fitted a big Rolex one.

That's great work!
Talk about a unique and personal watch, this is it.
To answer the two posts above, I am buying the blue version and have received the QC pics. As far as I can tell the color of the blue dial looks identical to the gen.The markers look to be straight and overall it looks like a good rep.
I will update with pics when I recieve it.
Are you guys regular wearers of smaller — 36mm — pieces? Or have you shifted down from ~40 for this? If so, how does it feel? ????
