nice! SEL gap looks a little large though.

also, does anyone else notice that the crown when tightened leaves a silver ring exposed ?(between the black 'tube' and crown)

those photos can sometimes be tough to decipher what with shadows and overexposure, but the SEL gap does look pretty large. the black dialed 36 was the watch that really got me into the Tudor brand and I never pulled the trigger on the gen. looking for excuses to pass on this. first it was the lack of bracelet. now it's the SEL fit. maybe someone will do a review and show that the gap isn't a big deal. trying to resist, but why?

I'm so so close to pulling trigger on used gen and the current Xmas sale at my TD is giving me a hard time deciding on Gen Vs this krf rep.

Yes the gap on the black model looks large. Blue looks a little better but the fitment of the sel on the underside of the watch looks extremely dodgy especially when you compare it to the recently released41mm model by LF.

I'm buying this purely to scratch my 114270 itch in the meantime and it would really suck if the sel was so bad cos imo this watch was made for the bracelet.

Decisions decisions...

Funny how I have the 114270 itch as well, but my case is not terrible. Maybe the antibiotics are working.

A good Xmas deal at your TD for a used gen BB36? Mind if I ask how much? I started getting kinda serious about gen with this watch when I saw it at $1800, but the condition was questionable. Excellent condition, box and papers, at that price or better would be difficult to turn away.

Oh I meant Xmas deal for a KRF BB36 at my TD hahaha. The used BB36 where I am is going for about 1650usd.

I'm really tempted by the bb36mm , I think it has a better crown and case than the Rolex 114270

Got it... what a great piece. Movement winds smooth as butter. Super silent. It’s definitely going to eat into my available wrist time. :)

My only real gripe is the SEL gap which is not noticeable on wrist. Also, I added the leather strap to my order so I can have the deployment option which is what I think I’ll do.

One comment... I have small wrists and the clasp really doesn’t sit well (I imagine gen is like this too).

I might try one of my date just or oyster perpetual clasps but they may be too big. Stay tuned :)

Use a nato or a leather strap!

Leather strap is the way to go for me... very comfy. Rep strap is not bad at all.
