The old smiley BB was thin, I think 11 point something. They haven’t been available for a while though. The later model BB Sheild was thicker. This is because the smiley used a thin ETA whereas the sheild used an MT movement that was thicker.
I’d say the TD web soec is out of date.

I find the slab sided case of the BB41 looks/wears thick compared to other watches with the same dimensions.

BB58 is a nice size.

Thanks a lot for the information. So the rose-dial is the thin one with eta and the newer shield-dial is with an mt but thicker.

So I will stay with the intention for a BB58.

No worries. BB58 is the sweet spot.
Hanging for the BB54 to be repped too
