Placed an order with Trustytime for the new vsf sub few days ago. I didn't realize there was a Chinese holiday and the factories were going to be close for a couple of days.

Andrew ( Trustytime ) replied that my QC pics was going to take 4 to 12days. Yesterday I decided cancel the order and ask for a full refund since I'm yet to receive my QC and since the factories were closed. Andrew is now saying he can only refund me 80% because of so called RESTOCKING FEES.

To deduct 20% is pure scam when he hasn't even received the watch from the factory.

I paid 449.35usd for the watch. So for him to now want to deduct 89usd for restocking fee for a watch he has yet to receive from the factory is pure scam .

Buyers beware of the 20% fees Trustytime takes if you decide to cancel your order.

Wow, a new member blaming a TRUSTED dealer.
This ain’t no amazon prime, you going mad because your fake watch needs at least 4 days to get in your dealer’s hands and cancel an order asking for a full refund?
I would have took the total order amount if I were Andrew.

Did you read what I just wrote?

Again why he is now sending me QC pics when I ask him for a refund yesterday?

If you really have a problem just buy the watch wait for it to arrive and then sell it for pretty much your entire money back. These tds have to pay the factories when u do an order and they don’t get their money back for the watch if you cancel. They have a great website that makes u think ur shopping at jomashop but this is illigal merchandise you are dealing with.

I think I recall that before you place the order, T&Cs pop up making it clear that if you submit the order, there'll be a restocking fee if you cancel. So what's your problem?

I ask him to cancel and refund me yesterday. He agreed and said he was only going to refund me 80%. I contacted the mods on here and I was told to fill a help desk ticket which I did. Now all of a sudden Andrew is sending me QC pics .

Do you really think Trusty is a one-guy organization and Andrew itself does all the job? He has a team.
When you sent the cancel his team was probably already taking the pics.

Not to mention it’s obviously out of their control when they receive the watches from the factory. They’re nothing else than middlemans.

Hi the problem was the 20% restocking fee T&C never said it was going to be 20%. I was actually wait for the mods to respond to my help desk ticket when I just received QCs pics for Andrew.

He knows I have cancelled and ask for a refund for this order so why is he sending me QC?

The reply I received said from Andrew so I assume it came from him .

I think it states it in the T&Cs. I imagine the Mods can assist if things get dodgy.

If the only reason you cancelled the order was the potential wait for the watch and now he has one almost immediately why not just take the watch like you originally wanted, or is there another reason like buyers remorse that you don’t want the watch anymore?

So, you got buyer's remorse and cancelled your order because of a week's delay? Sounds more to me like you changed your mind and took your opportunity to try and use the holiday as a get out of jail free card. Sadly it makes you look a bit ridiculous when shipping time is usually 3x that. Typical order to delivery for me has been 3-4 weeks from order to delivery, regardless of TD.

Hi I decided I would rather wait for the no date version.

Anyway rather than asking for a refund I have just mail him to see if I can exchange for the no date version .

I had an issue with a watch once from Ryan, but I guess they all work the same way.
Anyway, there was an issue and I wanted to change the watch, talking with the Ryan we agreed the swap, suddenly I get QC images. I asked Ryan why, he explained that the whole QC thing was out of his hands, this was backed up when I replied to the QC image address and got a reply from someone else, they had no idea of my conversation with Ryan. He had sent the swap request down the line but it took a day or two to get everyone upto date.

I've dealt with Andrew, he is good honest chap. If you think he is going to tarnish his reputation for a few bucks you are seriously deluded.

So the truth is you placed an order, you changed your mind, Andrew is now left with a watch you don't want and you are annoyed at him for exercising his right to charge you for wasting his time and money. Right. I expect he will accept your swap request given he's such a nice guy but after this post, maybe not.

Hi no when I ask for a refund he hasn't yet received the watch from the factory. And it was him that ask if I wanted a different watch instead of a refund. So now I have emailed me back asking to change for the no date.
