Just got it and I think it looks pretty darn good.
I'd like to hear what you folks think.
Sorry for the poor pics. I'll try to take some better ones in the next day or two.
These were taken with a single 60w light bulb for lighting so Pugsy and shutterbug go easy on me!!!

Looks very nice! The more and more I see the Rollie Vintage models the more and more I want to fill my watch box with them!

Plus you can't go wrong with Andrew, he's a great guy!

Cheers and wear it well!

Looks like great value for the money. Dial looks nice and all round a very nice piece.

The pearl needs to come out and either be left out or replaced with an acrylic pearl.

The datewheel is really nice I like the touch of putting in the silvr.

The CG's are Massive lol they definately could do with reshaping.

The datemag is really nice and very big, maybe want a gen T127 but with a mag like that it's not that big a deal.

Can't tell from the pics of your but in the past his 1680's have had VERY yellow markers so might wanna change that a little.

All in all a very nice watch, obviuosly isn't perfect but no rep is, beautifull example for the money and well worth it IMHO, much better than getting a 16610!!

Enjoy it and wear it well my friend and if you wanna have a go at altering anything just PM me and if you need any parts just ask.

An awful lot of my pictures are taken with a single 60w source, for what it's worth. I so want a 1680 now ...

You should def go for a 1680 pug, it's def the best watch I have except the tudor, I love my 1680 and would never sell it....ever!!!

Yes! I decided to go with the 1680 after reading a few of Edge's (and others) posts.
Vintage ROCKS!!!
I love this watch! I had Trusty's Noobmariner but it had an issue with the date wheel and Andrew let me upgrade to the 1680. Andrew has a sale on the 1680 right now....it's $30 cheaper than I paid a week or so ago..... oh well!!!

Here's a few daylight pics.

I love the raised glass on the 1680.....I wish my 16610 had this.

Same here. Andrew TWG is a great guy and most professional dealer.

You want to see raised glass...get the tropic from Edge. That thing REALLY stands up there!

I do like the silver date wheel. Look at the number 3 on the above picture. Isn't the 3 supposed to be flat on the top? Or did they use different fonts through out the production of the 1680??

I think your second round of pictures are just marvelous. You captured the watch well, and now it has captured me. Thirty dollars cheaper, hmmm :p

as halley said, the hollow link 93150 looks good, but i'm going to look into the 580 endlinks. i'm not 100 percent sure if that is accurate or not. caseback looks good as well.
