Hello and WELCOME from the official RWI reception desk!

You are receiving this introduction because you either posted in the "new members say hi" section or —for the first time(s)— elsewhere. In the latter case, consider introducing yourself in the aforementioned section.

If you haven't already, please make sure to read all relevant sticky threads. They contain important and essential information such as the forum rules! Most importantly the sales rules, because you will NOT yet be eligible / allowed to sell unless you meet certain criteria / are certified first.

A good starting point is this list of resources on RWI:

Please also take another look at this important sticky that you should already have seen after logging on for the first time:

This quick anti-fraud guide is essential if you are about to order from a dealer for the first time:

If you need any further assistance, feel free to contact me or @Feefo!

We will gladly help, but please allow some time for PM responses as we have lifes outside of RWI!

I wouldn't make a science out of triangle shipping, just let the TD manage it and that's it. They use shipping agents doing the job from ages, they know what they do. As a safeguard, you can either use a TD who has EU stock or a TD that will refund/replace in case of customs seizure or loss.

Exactly this ⬆️⬆️

You have two options: pay the standard shipping fee, let the TD do their thing and get it safely delivered.

Or go all fancy pants, pay a lot extra for express service and take the custom enforcement gamble on a route the TD usually doesn't use.

P.S.: The second option ends more often in seized and confiscated parcels, at least according to the general experience of our users based on anecdotal evidence...

PS 2: traditional triangulation is a thing of the past. Since the UK (the prime 3rd party in triangulation methods) exited the EU, the TDs figured out new ways to safely ship the precious merchandise...

I catch the point...thank you. the concept is "let the dealers do their best choice, based on what is the country of delivery"

English forum, english language please.

If you start reading what @eBoy provided and follow through by reading all sticky threads in the new members area, you'll have a better idea of what to do. There's a bunch of helpful threads which give advice on TD choice, it's all there.
I can tell you that Supermirrors and EU stock have .... EU stock, so much less shipping risks. Otherwise, it's up to you to make a decision by reading their policies etc.

Not correct mate. UK triangle sure. Countries just changed. Germany may not use Triangle anymore (some dealers do...), but Switzerland sure.

Triangulation is definitely a hot topic when it comes to shipping replicas, but it seems the general advice here is to let the TD handle itthey know the safest routes based on experience. If you’re in the EU, using a TD with EU stock is a solid way to reduce customs risks, and many offer replacement policies for seized packages.

I should have been more specific. Italy as a destination is usually not among the ones needing triangulation. But yes, it's still practiced, within and between EU countries with more customs-lax countries being used as intermediaries...

for shipping leave it to TD

Exactly!

One of the advantages you get, for the TD premium we pay, is an all-around service in good English.

You pick the watch, pay, submit your address and the TD takes care of everything. Why waste time brainstorming about the most ideal shipping methods, as if you're buying from a Wechat seller who's not very experienced in sending to Europe, vs a TD who's highly experienced and has entire routes with sophisticated rerouting, relabelling, and what not, figured out?

Just pay, sit back, light a cigar and let the TD do their magnificent shipping magic! 💫😊
