Well I'm traveling to the US and had this same question. My intention was to take about 3-4 reps to sell MtM and ship them CONUS. Hence it would be easier or safer than shipping from my country. The above posts answer some of this questions, but then again, if I get them through customs and later try to ship them via USPS, will that be a problem for a foreign citizen? ... Man, sometimes I would like to be less self-conscious. Anyway, thks for any tip

Don't see why it would. Post office doesn't check IDs or anything. Only issue is the return address you list. Probably list the hotel you are staying at.

Lol I fly all the time for work every few months. You’re fine. What TSA is really focused on are drugs, weapons, liquids, batteries, explosives, organic matter. Unless you snorted coke off your rep and left it marinating in a propane tank the night before, you’re fine lmao.

TSA is different from US Custom. Custom agents are looking for any valuable items over 10k (jewelries, cash) or items in a large quantity excess of 10k (10 Rolexes) or legal but prohibited items (tropical fruits from Bali etc) and of course illegal goods.

When you come in to the US, you have to fill out a custom paper and declare what you bring into the US. Most of us lie and Custom knows that. A lot of time, US Custom ignores visitors, but if you got flagged or randomly screened by the Custom and found your 10 replicas but your declaration paper says nothing, you will definitely have to sit down with a custom agent. They either treat your replicas as genuine and pay import duty or they confiscate them because of illegal counterfeit goods or maybe nothing at all and they let you go. Let me tell you, being pulled into the US custom office is not fun. The least trouble you get from the situation is missing a connecting flight. One thing to remember; deceiving or lying to a US federal agent is a crime.

I did exactly that with the Railmaster that took to NY, and had zero problems. Went to a post office, packed it with one of the boxes they had, used my hotel as sender address and the buyer got a Railmaster the next day. Great dea!

Thanks Mate! And thanks to all of the other's opinions. This certainly gives a clearer view of the varying situations and how to handle them. Good info in here.

You may of course have in terms of the Copyright laws, which is in force in pretty much in any country, but that is highly unlikely, that would be actually funny and stupid if the customs stops you and ask whether it was replica or not, that is no different than wearing a replica Gucci Shirt and customs asks you take your shirt off : ), They can't take it away with no evidence, they may have to consult with an expert and that is also too much hassle for them. You may also bring with you more than one watch as long as you convince the customs those are your personal belongings and your a watch enthusiasts. I have never been stopped by the customs, they usually stop you if they don't like the way you look like, I think they may ask anything in that case : D

Is a rep daytona on the wrist ok and a gen TH in my luggage? I'm a little bit scared because i'm 21 and I dont trouble. (why does a 21 owns a rolex?)

Should I go to my customs and sign a certificate of identity?

News flash: you are nobody. Don’t feel important. Whether you are 21 with Daytona or Casio, you are not important enough to be searched. Unless, you scream bomb or bringing purple elephant penis for medicine. You are just one of the dumb morons who comes to the US with couple suitcases to enjoy our famous junk food like any other million dumb tourists who visit the US every day.

BTW, You’ve been posting the same questions all over the forum and apparently you didn’t read what people posts about it.

From what I know, experienced and a general rule, you can bring 2 or 3 watches with you for personal use whether these are reps or gens. This can be 1 you wear and 2 in your suitcase or carry-on. If you are bringing more than you should according to the CBP regulation, they will flag you (if they notice) and inspect the watches because they would think that you intend to smuggle and sell them without paying duty or going through a proper channel. This applies to not just reps but gens and other goods also.

When you come to the US, you have to declare what you buy/bring from overseas, and most of us lie. If CBP notice something in your suitcase or carry-on and inspect your stuff then they find your 10 genuine rolexes and lie on the custom paper, you may have to sit down with CBP agents for a while at the airport, and you will soon know their decision; it could be a penalty or it could be nothing. What if you brought 10 replicas into the US? Same; either they treat your 10 reps as gens or they may confiscate them because of illegal counterfeit goods.

Well the good news is, you will go through US customs with no problem (most of the time), but when your bad day hits, it could cause you a little trouble in the airport. Just make sure you stay within reasonable limits and know the rules — and hey, once you're in, there are plenty of the best places to travel in the US to make your trip worth it!

That’s a really helpful breakdown, honestly. I’ve always wondered where the line is with bringing multiple watches, especially reps. It’s kinda wild how much discretion CBP has — like one day you’re fine, the next day you’re explaining yourself over some watches. Definitely makes me think twice about overpacking anything even slightly questionable.

I travel back and fourth from China often with 5-6 watches in my bags or carry on. I place each watch in a CaseBudi you can find on AMZ. Keeps the watches safe. Don't bring the papers and remove the stickers. Make sure they fit your wrist. I just tell the inspector I am a watch freak. If someday he doesn't believe my I will show him a photo of my watch collection that is in 3 digits.
