No one would ever guarantee you a no-check pass at customs. Every checked bag will be scanned on departure and arrival and opened and searched if they wish so. You're less likely to be asked to open your hand luggage if your main bag doesn't get flagged, but you may still be questioned. And if you put all your goods in your checked baggage, it could get flagged. Put a microphone in your checked-in bag and you've got an anti-bombing squad on the tarmac. You know the camera lenses look like grenades on X-rays, that's why you have to open your hand luggage when it's scanned. They have Venitian mirrors that look just like glass panels and hidden cameras, not only for customs but also for airport security and spotting potential strange behaviours. Of course it helps to have a Swedish passport (and yes, to be Caucasian), but it does not matter. They have a list of destinations and this list is checked daily like a watch: South America, Madrid, Lisbon, the Netherlands, Thailand and all neighbouring countries, and of course all of Africa and the Middle East.
