thanks tb, i have tried that. popped out. does anybody still make screw in cases?
i have 3 watches that have failed with the push button lugs. the buttons have fallen out, i lost one watch to the ocean and saved the other 2 but they cannot be fixed. what to do?
What where you doing with it in the ocean? Yea those lil buttons are a pia I just keep a strap on.
Don't Mind Me, I'm here for complications!
i have always worn my pams in the ocean, they hold up really well, no leaks at all. but lately it's just these darn push pins. can anybody tell me if i can get a screw in case for these 2?
last 2 survivors r the [h=1]PAM01499 and the PAM531.[/h]
i wonder if the case could be modded to accept screw in bars
I don't think so. The diameter of the hole on the threaded side is 1.34mm. The diameter of the hole on the quickrelease side is 1.5mm. The entry hole is 1.7mm. So you would not be able to tap a hole to accommodate the standard screw in lug bars.
hey mysterio, do you know where i can get the cases?
Ask your favorite TD to reach out to the factories. They might be able to get you one.
ooohhh i got an idea ......what about a setscrew replacing the QR buttons ?
Well if sexybeast knows someone who can do it (and can buy some suitable set screws), that would work. But he'd have to apply some loctite every time he changes straps.
