We would usually just meet up in downtown Toronto for drinks every few weeks and just talk about watch stuff. Let me know if you're keen on joining usI'm dealing with issues right now with WJ. If he's as stand up as other members say, then I'm sure I've got nothing to worry about. If he's not, I'll certainly share what's going on with my watch. I'm going to give him an opportunity to fix the issues first but for anyone considering on using WJ, maybe pause for a moment or two. More updates to follow. PM me if anyone is also dealing with him. Any Rolex aficionados in the Mississauga Brampton region? I'd love to meet up and show what's going on.

Hmmm. I've taken several watches to him now for repairs and waterproofing and have never had an issue. Would you mind telling us about the issue you're having?I'm dealing with issues right now with WJ. If he's as stand up as other members say, then I'm sure I've got nothing to worry about. I have used the watch repair guy on Spadina (near Nassau St) . He does a fine job repairing my TC LV waterproofing , fixing the hour hands and some other work.
He charged me under $100 for it. (But I had to do the bezel myself he won't do it)
That makes me sickHe charged me almost $200 just to do a bezel assembly swap on my gen SMP300 and he had no idea how to do it so he pried on it and scratched all the corners of the lugs...
Yeah but without lazer welding the case shape will change. You should look up how Al Archer has refinished cases after other "watchsmith have butchered them.![]()
Lol look at this piece of work
Good thing I've found someone who can refinish a case

Well your story and I think a couple of others should be enough for people to know they should never let this guy near their watches

WJ is King. They know the Datejust inside out and can tell your endlinks if they belong to that watch. Here is my update. I brought my watch to WJ. He checked them and identified the issue right on spot (5-10 mins). Few things needed to be changed + I insisted to tear them apart, clean and lube. It cost me 180 altogether. They accept only cash so keep that in mind.
After 2.5 weeks my watch was ready for pick up. After his service, my watch was in a very good shape (no major scratches or anything crazy like other guys have reported from other watch repair guys). WJ gave me the warranty on their job for 1 year.
Now I'm using them for a week since my pick up. So far everything is working well, but I'll keep you updated if something will come up.
Hope that feedback will help other guys like me, who still haven't figured out where to service their babies.
