Bummer.. But I'm sure there will be a nice version of the 57th street one day. Just not going to happen this month I'm afraid.

It will look great, but you can tell 3 miles away that it is a rep. That is the part that kills the deal. Of course not to many people have ever seen a gen AP.

No it's not going to be awesome. As a matter of fact, it is one of the worse AP ROO reps.

In my opinion the complete dial is screwed up, just look at it, the watch looks terrible, but that is just my opinion. There is something wrong with it, I also believe that the color is not right. Just compare it to some gen pics....

The ass kissing by some people on other forums is incredible. This watch is a clusterf--- . There is no way around it. Look at surfaceboard's latest QC pic ? Either he is blind, or he is just refusing to see what a bad product he is being offered. No one wanted this watch more than I did. But the reality is that it is CRAP. You can align the bezel screws all you want, it still looks terrible. It's all really a damn shame.
I'll tell you what - the h-factory carbon diver better be bloody good.. we need something to re-store our morale!!

I agree.. and have compared. Whole dial looks wrong. But maybe they can fix it in v2 or v3. Big dissapointment for everybody that preordered though.
But man, if it was me who had this batch made and ok'd that dial for sure I would have the factory replacing those bezels and I wouldn't take no for an answer.

+1 and well spoken. I am on this list too and wanted this watch, I am waiting since October.
I have enough APs and I am able to judge what is good and bad. Fact is, the 57str project failed.

If anybody is looking for an OEM strap for this, keep a look out in the M2M sales in about 4-6 weeks. :facepalm:
That is my hope for now. That other versions will address the issues.
The first pictures of the dial that we saw, showed the probability that there was a problem. The Bezels were just the topping on the shit cake. Look at that date window ! That alone would drive me nuts. The numbers are too small. The logo is crap. If someone wants to call it nitpicking, so be it. But these are all items that they have gotten right on other AP's.
It's unbelievable. And then they go mad if you suggest anything about the situation is poor. I know for a fact shit rejected watches are being passed on to others. Shame.
