I had the white Gold version BP 36mm. Didn't like it. Felt too cheap. Also not top tier factory exists for daydate.
Thank you for your input, and yeah I heard they do feel cheap, but also some people do say they really like it, giving me mixed vibes.. what exactly feels cheap? the bracelet? Its so typical
The case and bracelet. It's poorly finished so it's sharp edges all over. BP rehaut is so faint it's pointless. The bezel is not the best either.
BP/GMF isn't a top tier factory. If your looking more for the name daydate I guess it's fine but if you like wearing quality made stuff you will hate this watch.

Sadly if you want a daydate, only BP and GMF are producing this model. It's a great starter watch but it's definitely lacking the quality.

Not at all. My impression is that the date is very deep inside but the day Windows is better than other models where it is too narrow. If of interested can post some pictures

Btw datejust appear more popular than daydate nowdays. There are some top tier factory producing datejust like VSF, Clean, ARF, etc
There's not a lot of choice, Noob probably hard to get now after raids. GMF makes pretty good watches, not the best but certainly acceptable. The DD is similar to DJ in quality IMO.

As it seems the choice is restricted to BPF and GMF I tried t compare those watches between themselves and with the Gen. Since unfrotunately I don't have any of those watches (only a Noob a version) I tried to find the best pictures I could find. The Day-Date model compared is a 40mm, white gold (steel) with silver dial.
In the following picture you see from left: GMF, BPF, Noob.
I would love somebody with experience to see if there is any visible difference between the GMF and BPF versions. I can't see any. The Noob seems to have the date more recessed than the others.
Ihe next picture you see from left: GMF, Gen, BPF.
Again I cannot see any significant difference, but as said I am not expert.
If anybody has been through this GMF vs BPF process, it would be really nice to hear the conclusions.
