That my friends is the Question............

So I got the V3 111 with Asso strap and I was breathless when I saw it. I have seen a few pictures here after a glove oil treatment and it looks great. I went to my local Walmart and made the big $2.79 investment in glove oil but now as I sit here ready to apply, I question my self. I could take a prozac and get over it or obsess on it at RWI which is more gratifying. With that said, any advice from fellow members since you know our significant others don't give a crap?

Do it! If you end up not liking it, a new rep asso will set you back less than 50 bucks so worth the try if you ask me. I think it will give it more character

I will admit that I started shopping straps before I even got the watch so I am leaning that way

Oil it. I posted pics a few weeks ago of an oiled one. It is night and day

What I hear from brother-in-law leather guy is that olive oil looks good but is more prone to mold. Think about shelf life. Either way if you just treat with a leather oil after it's fine.

Mineral oil / vaseline or nothing!

Anything else compromises the leather.

Oil it....agree with above. Night and day difference. With that being said, I bought a strap from panatime and milgliore...both of which blow that stock asso away...even oiled.

Sent from my outdated phone.

I like the look of the oil before it dries. Will ask my leather guy how to darken and shine.
