Timpsons/In-time UK Help

Hey,

Anyone know if Timpsons/Intime here in the UK will do some light repairs on reps? I have a small issue with a spring bar and was wondering if i could take it to them and have them fix it for me rather than confiscating it. Anyone got any experience?

Yeah, I was speaking to Rob and basically my spring bar won't stay inside its hole in the lug. It goes in a bit and then pops straight out so is basically unwearable.

I'd suggest taking it to a local non-chain watchsmith. We have one where I live who works in the market hall and welcomes any business. I'm sure timsons etc wouldn't push any business a side though?

I don't have a watchsmith close by unfortunately. People like Timpsons are my closest. Where about's is yours if you don't mind me asking.

Hard to imagine anything serious or too challenging with a springbar?

Which model watch is it?

Could simply be you have the wrong size or style installed?

I took my Panda for strap change at In Time within Debenhams was quoted £15. 2 weeks later I took my Diver to them and the manager thinks its gen and quotes £25. I now have a market hall guy that charges between £2-£4 to change straps depending how he's feeling...

spring bar should be easy for any jeweller you must have jewellers in your town.
