Pusher at ten is for setting the date on a gen.

The chrono feratures work as usual (start/stop on top button and reset on bottom button). The recessed pusher is for date setting.

so i guess there's no way currently to fix the sunken date issue unless you can somehow find a different movement?

also, i was at an AD today and it seemed that the opening for the date window on the dial is larger on the gen as well. overall look of the face seemed slightly different, but unfortunately i didn't have them side by side to compare.

the datewheel is miles different. pretty big tell, but it seems that there isn't much else that's terribly wrong...

Nope, you're right. Close enough in fact, that I wondered at spending for a gen. Just couldn't get past the date wheel though. But, that's true for almost all reps.
