Call me crazy, but I'm taking quite a shine to the engraved version. It is fantasy, isn't it?

Get it man I'm trying to get rid of my black bay to get one of those. It looks simple and understated but the look never gets old

Opened the caseback on my v2 to tighten a loose rotor screw .....was pleasantly surprised to see Tudor engraved bridges Wow!!

Just need to swap in a gen 2824, transfer engraved bridges and for all intensive purposes the watch is gen.

Caseback looks excellent too:

Are you sure that hands interchangeable between gen and rep 2824. Good idea, but I am afraid can be difficulties due slight diffrense between rep and gen ETA.

I don't think the hands would be interchangeable either

Well, I've swapped in gen ETA movements on pretty much every rep I've owned.....never had an issue with the rep hands being incompatible with gen ETA.

....But you never know with reps.

the hands are interchangeable between the A2824 and the swiss 2824. the A2824 is a complete copy to the same specs.

I have eta movements lined up ready to swap into my ranger as well, I also have a setting lever which only has two clicks on the crown (winding and time setting, no empty option where the date set function is) like the gen.

Meh, I only like Black Bay and Pelagos (and maybe the Black Shield too) in Tudor's line-up.

That's fantastic!

I think that has sold it - this will definitely be my next purchase. Why has this one gone under the radar for rep of the year? Seems like it would be a shoe in considering how close it is to gen...

In my opinion the Ranger is the most classy of the heritage models... With the gen nato strap It's also a beautiful every day piece...

Someone change A2824-2 for original ETA? My Ranger have a very noisy rotor. Is it common problem?

Well, I had open watch to see what is wrong. But all is OK. Looks this noise is common for Rangers. What is about BB?

Put a little oil on the rotor bearing. Will
Definitely reduce the rotor noise.

Thank you guys, you made me order one as well. According to Ryan (who checked with the factory) the v2 does not have a engraved rotor though.
