ok, havent updated this thread in a while bc no wheels have been turning.This morning FINALLY I received my PVD flightdeck with carbon dial, silver handset this morning and have had some silver bits already home. Purchased the watch from Mary and Rochest.

Ill post exactly what I did and some pics later (cant atm). But it looks exactly how I wanted to and EXACTLY like the flightdeck 50mm Steel Bezel. Used a steel bezel I had, ordered silver buttons (only needed the upper chrono) silver crown cover and a uboat original stainless clasp I bought (plaque reads U-Bboat in big, Italo fontana under that small and a U-boat printed clasp.

Thats what I started with, without mods. They look awesome just all pvd with carbon fiber, but ever since i saw the steel bezel model in Rhodes, Greece I fell in love. At the time, not $2900 Euro wirth though

Watch done!

So all is done, just in the middle of organising a new strap from someone on the forum. Veeeery happy with the outcome, compared it to an original that I took pics from in Greence. Mary and Rochest also had the newer a7750 with regulator. The gen uboat strap that came with the lugs u-boat plaque and stainless steel clasp, was light brown. Didnt match at all, so im using this strap until the newie comes. Will look pretty darn good methinks

Wow seth! This is stunning! It is a gorgeous watch. I was at first sceptical with this project, but the end result is awesome!!

We need more pics and a wrist shot
