It´s a free forum and the information overflow when freshly landing here without exactly knowing what to expect is just overwhelming.
It´s a nice and simple gesture to give some guidance - be it to provide a link to the noob faq or search field upper right corner

It just feels as though some many want instant gratification without one tiny bit of effort-especially when it's all right in front of them.
Too lazy to even just look.

When one joins they should have to read the 'beginners dictionary', then confirm that they read it and confirm what will happen if they ask certain questions, then they actually join. And if they immediately ask who's got what or is this...in any form of a sentence, then POW-burnt at the steak and thrown out.

Of course, that's just a thought.:woo:

One thing to note is that this lazy behavior is prevalent on every type of forum. Not just watches. So it's more of a reflection on society, than any particular genre .
