TheOneWatchs is asking for Paypal F&F payment - legit? Please help!

Hello members, I'm buying my first watch from Steve at theonewatches. He has reached out to me via WhatsApp and is requiring that I send the funds via PayPal F&F because i have not been a member of his Redit site for at least a year. Obviously I'm reluctant to do so. Asking the experienced members here if this legit? I've verified the the WhatsApp communication matches the number listed on this site. Thanks so much for your help!

TOW claims on their website that it's the opposite: you have to be member for more than one year due to the risk of chargebacks.

We also accept paypal payment, but has to check whether you are a member of the forum for over one year.

Legit. He only offers PP F&F to those that haven't been long enough here.

Those who have been here longer don't care and use Wise because you get better consitions

Sooo Steve will only let you use PayPal F&F because you haven't been a member of his Reddit site for a year. So you join RWI today and ask the members here if Steve asking for F&F is legit.

Think your questions would be better suited and answered on Reddit. I am sure the experienced member there know way more then anyone on this site.

I don´t know Steves conditions, but when I was a noob this was common - no PP for Noobs. Funny thing. Noobs want to pay via PP and are not allowed to do so, users with experience don´t want to pay via PP ;-)
