As a newcomer to the gold rep scene, I appreciate this thread. I was searching for a post about how to care for your gold rep. Great info here!

I care it like other watches. Only if I wearing a plated watch I’m looking to not scratch it. 99% of gold watches are only in my watchbox.

All that and they clearly don't show the side center SEL but it looks like they're not covered with gold.


I just ended up ordering the plated version. It's mostly for a friend and I'd I don't point out the uncovered center link, I doubt he'd notice and he didn't really want to inch up that close to a grand when all was said and done. (closer to 1k than to the $448 price of the plated version).

But I'm still curious to see.

Edit to add: also we really don't even know if this is the wrapped or plated versions.

I think we’re shut down now. At least until the end of CNY so it looks like we won’t find out till after CNY. I ordered the plated version and I’m waiting for it now anyway. But I am anxious to see the wrapped version so please keep me posted.

Now I have ordered a few watches. And the 116613LB Wrapped ;-)
Qcs will arrive after cny. I’m really nervous how good the wrapped version is. I hope the blue Color is close to gen. I think it looks good, the clean Factory is a Little Bit to purple...

What do you think about 116613LB clean factory version?

just like every other Clean/ZZF.. they use a GMT case instead of Submariner and build quality is typically poor. Only thing going for it is the plated side links. Everything about the VSF is better.

I would like to buy a 16618, BP, does anyone have any photos to post? My biggest problem is the date window, does gold hold up well? I thought I'd match the head with a leather bracelet

Today my 126333 Noob gold wrapped is arrived. I think the midlinks are only plated not wrapped. Can you say me more?

ProGamer73061 what became of this please? I don’t know which terminology is which when we’re talking wrapped or plated because I never know what they mean for each individual factory these days. But your watch looks like no colour on the sides same as the yourwatch picture shows, and those two pictures are different from chazingtime picture. Is the one you bought as expensive as the chazingtime one advertises?

@ProGaner73061 actually maybe I am seeing wrong on my little phone screen. Scrap my message, because I can’t 100% tell which has coloured sides in the pic until I’m on a bigger screen. I just wanted to know if you think you got a good correct piece or if you’re confused by what you received? - I hope you’re good

I have bought the expensive wrapped version. Yw has sent me the wrong version of watch. Wrong clasp code... wrong movement. The watch is back on yourwatch and they send me a new one. Now a real vsf wrapped (the 20 days order time version ;-))

By saying they sent you a new one you mean your VSF wrapped sub was produced already?
