The sky's the limit, as is evidenced by the range of stands being discussed here. It depends what you want it for, and how fancy you want it to look. So, anything from a couple of quid for plastic ones, to £150 or more for Rolex branded ex-display stands.
I only use the ones I buy for putting watches on when I photograph them, so I've got some cheap transparent plastic things that cost a couple of quid for a bunch, some pretty decent grey felt and coated metal jobs off eBay that cost about £15 for 3, I've got a set of LW branded metal bases that cost £80 for 3 (as I mentioned above), and I have a couple of nice wooden Tudor branded ones which cost about £50 for the pair IIRC.
