Why are you saying it is a gen?
Why the crown is "fat"?
Why the slots of the wheel screws are not well finished? It seems in the low resolution pic
Please better macro pics of Swan Neck spring and screw and Incabloc shape. There are some rep smell there
Dial looks good, and bezel has the middle edge like a gen. A good Franken?
Anyway congrats !
ALE
I've been waiting for Ale to speak!
The credit goes to wolf for spotting this as a Noob well before anyone else.
See, people, this is why the PCTeam is so important. We can see things that most can't. Guys like Ale have forgotten more about Pam's than most will ever know.
I never said this was a Gen, I just didn't say it wasn't.
The dial does look good doesn't it? This is a 112 Noob with the incabloc mod from Angus's watch smith. Custom xxx/500 114 case back and a awesome replica dial. I also installed a longer swan neck screw.
This is the best 114 I have ever seen.....and it's mine. (I'm doing a Doctor Evil laugh right now)
I documented the build for a tutorial I will put together sometime before Feb.
Thanks for all the kind words, but with replicas of this quality for around $400 and a few hours of labour, I would NEVER buy a Gen historic Panerai.
