Hey,
I wanted to buy my first sub and decided to buy a starbucks but cant decide whether i should go with vsf or clean. I am aware of the common flaws of both factories but i heard the case of the 12xxx vsf is bad in comparison with cleans 12xxx cases. Can anyone help me with this point and my decision?

Specific to the midcase, my personal view is that Clean's case has a more accurate profile.

I've ordered two VSF subs last month. A 116610 ln and a 126610 ln and man the sels were terrible on both. The 12 was a little bit better. But I'm very disappointed.
That's sad to hear, it's fair to assume those issues were not visible in QC pictures? Have you let the seller know about it?

I recently received a VSF114060 from a RWI TD. The watch looks incredible . IMO it's the best quality rep (stock) that i've seen and it keeps impeccable time. The only thing i noticed that to me i expected better quality is that the bezel has some very slight "play" in it with you firmly try move it up and down. Is this normal or would you stay this is excessive?

Additionally - i also ordered from the same TD a high quality rep RubberB strap and asked that this strap is the correct one for the 114060 - however upon fitting the RubberB the rubber end-links(?) on the strap seem thicker in depth than the 114060 case and thus the strap extends beyond the case into the bezel - thus making the bezel too tight to use and the rubber from the strap is restricting the bezel's free movement (image attached). I was assured this is the high quality RubberB rep (cost $60) and the material and feel seems very good and better than cheap RubberB reps i've seen, yet the fitment isn't good. Would this likely be that the RubberB sent to me is NOT for the 114060 (maybe instead for a Daytona, etc)? Has anyone tried a RubberB on a 114060?
(once i have some additional inputs i ofc will go back to the TD to raise these issues but first i wanted to get a view from RWI members on these issues)

What do you think about Amplitude 232 on VS3230? Would you get that or pass?
Generally speaking, does amplitude get higher or lower over time? I'm guessing lower?
I know if you wind it full, it gets higher.
Can I make it higher in any other ways?
I would accept 230. My DD3285 was around 235 and I accepted it.
Amplitude decreases over time when wearing it.
It's rep movement not gen movement. Don't worry about it.
One thing, I'd ask your TD to wind it up fully and see if it increases. Cheers.
I've mentioned the rather low amplitude to the TD. His reply was, 200 and up is fine. Also it will get higher if fully wound up.
You could see the spring bars trough them. It was pretty bad. Not noticable on the wrist but definitely when you're holding the watch.
Questions about my VSF 124060:
1) How is the quality of the VSF spring bars and click springs?
2) Is it worth upgrading them to gen?
3) Where may I search/source these here on RWI?

The reason why you either got 230 or 235 is, you set lift angle wrong (for VSF movement). It is not a valid parameter to judge a VS3235 movement.
Spring bars are fine. I'd be more concerned about the lug holes being drilled correctly as I've had issues with spring bar alignment on a VSF 41mm DJ in the past. Just pay close attention to how the bars are seated in the caseback QC pics.
Click spring on my 2R 126610 is perfectly acceptable for me, although I haven't had a chance to compare it side-by-side with gen. The click spring on my K25 114060 on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired to the point where I plan on upgrading. It is stupid easy to rotate which results in the bezel randomly rotating with very minor contact.
I ordered Everest spring bars, aftermarket click springs and bezel gasket.
There’s a tiny bit of backwards play for the bezel and the bezel click is on the higher pitch end, hopefully these items would improve that, if not, I at least hope it is better than what VSF included.

I must say I always wanted a Submariner but did not want to spent north of 10k for it... Watching Bosch on Prime where he always wears a 116610 did not make it better 
. Decided for the less stubby version though

The SELs on yours are perfect! It seems to be hit or miss with VSF.I must say I always wanted a Submariner but did not want to spent north of 10k for it... Watching Bosch on Prime where he always wears a 116610 did not make it better
