The VSF Submariners Thread

I have both 2R9 and Q66. The only thing I can tell, and these are very very subtle, almost indistinguishable, are: bezel engravings are a little deeper, pearl is slightly more bulbous and more brown tinged, and the case shape is a little different (not sure for better or worse). Both are good quality without bezel play and all the little things that you sometimes see. I can’t tell a difference if I’m being honest. If I had to pick one, I would choose Q66.

There was a period of time VSF was delivering 802B cased submariners to dealers because they ran out of cases.
It is not your TDs fault, since they get whatever VSF hands them.

No, this is right out of the box! Arrived yr.day! Looks great.
you got that right. just ordered from Eric at geektime, hopefully its the same build as yours. colour doens't look like yellow cheese as others call it lol

It depends on the light! It’s a tad more rose gold then I originally wanted but the dial is amazing. Crystal is good, cyclops is so so! Overall a great piece for the price.
Bracelet was a bit squeaky but babyoil fixed that.

And what is your opinion of these 116610LN with 802B? I think the rehaut is better than in the VSF case itself.

In theory, there are only two differences:
- The 802B uses V6F inner ring
- The 802B uses V6F sub caseback: quality of the font on caseback is slightly rougher than VSF
(These are QC pics already approved of a watch I already have in my possession)

Quite frankly I don't mind the 802B case. V6F and VSF are so similar already.... and the case is practically the same in terms of finish. What matters for looks is crystal, dial, and bezel, which look to be VSF.And what is your opinion of these 116610LN with 802B? I think the rehaut is better than in the VSF case itself.
