Has anyone waterproofed the 116610LN VSF? Without making any changes when it arrived from TD, did it pass the test?
Tested few usually they were good up to 50m straight from the factory , only sea dweller fail to pass even 1bar

They pretty good out the box , just need to make sure the case back is lock tight
Is there any way to do this without having the tool to open Rolexes? Sorry if the question is too stupid, but I don't know.

You can use a sticky ball and turn the case back to make sure it's tight

As I said a few posts up, I'd be shocked to see one that didn't pass to at least 50m. If you want to be sure, buy from one of the TDs who does a water resistance test as a part of the QC.

Just received my vsf 116610.. is the gold part normal ? I also have noob v11 and vsf 126610 but there is no gold metal.

how do you solve the problem of the bezel that is not perfectly adherent to the case? Mine leaves an obvious gap

Possibly two things

1) the crystal retaining ring not fully pressed in or have lifted upward over time

2) hytrel bezel gasket is worn/deformed

Both need the bezel to be removed and inspected

Is this stock? I'm really stuck between a 126610 and a no date.
Yes sir its stock. I hade the movment serviced in december. Didint need to but just in case, i have used this watch everyday since i bought it over 2-1/2years ago so i feel that service is a good idea :)i love this watch.
