What's your guys' thoughts on all those DiW Submariners? Are they a really a thing? I like some of them, but I wonder if they are a bit too extreme, like, say . . . a Rainbow Daytona or a Tiffany Patek?
Or is the fact that they are really different perhaps an advantage, in that nobody can really put them in a certain drawer and compare them to "the real thing?"

DiW is very very rare. Most people have never seen gen one in real life before. If someone recognize it, the legit check that they will look for is the person wearing the watch haha. However, if you like it go for it.

Its probably the rxf which is technically vsf

I think those are two different watches. The one on top has a Noob cover.

that is not a vsf.
1. no 3235
2. either datewheel or crystal is weird but that does not look right
3. not vsf serial number
4. no floating m, a vsf signature

Dial print also not crisp, not sure if its the resolution or the what but yeah looks to be mid tier

The insert indices has definitely gone darker/dull. The previous owner probably went swimming with it is the reason why. Has this happened to anyone else regarding the VSF stock insert?

Use a toothbrush with warm water and dish soap and dry the indices thoroughly.

I have found this to be an oxidation issue.
I have seen it happen more when you shower with the watch.

You will see a big difference.
