Yes, that's normal. Unfortunately, all the reps I have or tried, Clean/VSF/GM had sound movement inside the case :)

Hey guys, read this whole thread, so much great info.

I’m ordering a VSF 126610 LV and I’ve been doing some research on here and online, I know with DJs a lot of things can be done to franken them but with these subs is there anything anyone would franken?

Crystal/hands/datewheel etc?

Crystal is a good upgrade but new VSF's have great crystals these days.
Hands/datewheel will cost you quite a bit of money for this model and it's rare too.

Cheers mate, I might just try for a crystal, I don’t mind spending money on a franken but wasn’t sure if there was a general consensus of what people tend to replace for a franken on a 126610 LV.

I've had 2 11series before this s39 and K case serial with 7GJ bracelets. This A01 case with 6SH bracelet is my best so far, the other ones bezel action isn't as good and has bezel play like one whole click, this A01 has smooth crisp clicks with unnoticeable play. My 7GJ's the GlideLock is gritty seems like metal to metal as compared to my 12series which is so smooth as if there's some kind of teflon in between. This 6SH is the same smooth action GlideLock. I'm not saying all S and K serials with 7GJ has these issues, as many of us here say it's a matter if luck with every piece. Another thing, isn't it A01 case and 6SH bracelet are older release codes I guess vsf reused these codes. I've also read somewhere that 6SH is quite rare before.

Gen rehaut is a good upgrade, needs a special tool to fix the replacement rehaut back onto the case though, rehaut attachment tool it’s called. The kit comes up now and again on M2M or you can sometimes find them on reddit. Anything else is expensive with diminishing returns.

So is this the best sub version then? And I’m guessing the same for hulk?
I should ask for this from the TD?

I know you mentioned it's a first rep, but are you used to the feeling of a rotor on gens? I assume on some reps, the rotor could be rubbing on the caseback a bit (scraping noise) and also be causing a bit of noise. My gen rolex actually developed the same problem over time and a service did fix it if it bugs you/the watch starts to die quicker. Depending on how much you are shaking the watch, you might also be hearing the mainspring slipping to prevent overwinding. I just tilted and listened to my VSF 116610 though and I didn't hear anything unusual, just the usual noise of a mechanical watch (on either a gen or rep).

I also have a cheap broken rep where you can actually hear the screw or whatever falling around inside the case, so if you hear that... might want to get it looked at :LOL:

I asked my TD [email protected] for the latest batch/release 40mm no date and this A01 6SH is the QC pics he sent, I GreenLighted right away as everything looks good. If it is the best version, personally I had S39 and K serials with 7GJ bracelets and I can say this A01 6SH is the best among them. I'm not saying all S and K serials are inferior or has the issues I experienced with mine as many of us here say every piece is different it's a hit and miss matter of luck. If I'm about to buy again I'll still choose this case-bracelet code/batch combo.

A01 case serial goes way back pre raid as well as 6SH bracelet which they say was quite rare. Recent release 40mm case serials are S29 and S39 (date) and K (no date) with 7GJ bracelets.

Exactly. This A01 6SH could be a New Old Stock or more possible vsf reused the codes and its the Latest Batch release. Lets wait for the next posts if this is true and more will receive these serials.
