No love for the vintage bond Mariners and Daytonas mate? I've been looking at the vintage 6542 gmt for awhile now as well

Maybe a big crown. Daytona's are intimidating. Maybe soon.

The dial has a sort of carbon fiber look, love the overall shape and colour

I hate noobs, I really do. I'm not talking about new members I'm talking about idiots who try to be sneaky and inflate there lost count. It's so obvious and annoying. If I was a mod I would ban all noobs who lost whore. Thankfully I'm not a mod haha but I wouldn't mind volunteering :) lol

just bump for pure awesomeness....

I recently spent a few days reading up on Rolex dials.... It turns out that the honeycomb dial was produced for a very very short time during the hay-days of Rolex. Just like chamfers, textured dials were vogue during the vintage era. This build still amazes me as to how close it is cosmetically to the gen!

I do have small wrist (6.25) but the shot is a little exaggerated too.

Wow, really small wrist for that 36mm looks huge on you

Yeah true that, I hate it that Rollie's are so damn small , yet they are the most beautiful watches out there if only they were 45mm! Should learn from Panerai.

When I first came into the forum more than one year ago I read for 3 months for hours everyday all about Rolex watches and I gloated at macro shots in awe, then I ordered a franken , PBDad modded TC sub and I was so dissapointed the thing is so small it almost looked like a joke to me , like a ladies watch! after all the macro shots I had been gloating at for months...

Just imagine this honeycomb Rollie in 45mm! Wow ! Hard for ANY other Watch brand to beat that beauty!
