I noticed #2 is the most often repeated... in a way maybe they are used to represent a $120 rep sub vs a $500 one from a more "reputable" factory

Thanks for this post! People often tend to forget that they are paying a huge fraction of the retail price for a replica and there will never be a 1:1 exact copy. All of us have different threshold in accepting certain flaws, but what ticks me off is people start to nitpick the smallest details as if they are buying the gen.

Your rep AP dials never be similar to gen
it is fine if the fonts are a bit thinner than the gen
Rolex Daytona subdials will never the exact size as gen

Just buy the watch you like, accept the flaws if you can and just enjoy.
