I believe it could be the Devil's underpants. He apparently wears long ones. It is possible he heard me approaching and needed to make the fastest exit possible and possibly they got caught on something and he was in too much haste to retrieve them. All I heard was a deafening bellow but I could make out "OH BOLLOX HE IS GOING TO BORE ME TO DEATH TALKING ABOUT WATCHES, I AM OUT OF HERE"
