I wonder how many movies and songs he has downloaded from bit torrent. People are quite funny about where they draw their ethical line depending on how it suits them.

These guys should wake up and smell the coffee...

The fact is the owner of their beloved brand "PANERAI" are ripping them off big big time.

A good friend of mine, who actually introduced me to reps used to go to pan nuts websites and post the most horrific canal street reps he could find just to watch a 5 page flame thread afterwards he could laugh at.

Panerai's intellectual property, including its name, trademarks and patented crown-guard, is owned by Panerai and is probably the company's biggest asset
get this? almost nuthin but hype- my new rep 196 from B2K right now keeps time within 2 secs per day and looks very good on me wrist.... I know it's not gen, but as an engineer and a lover of precision instruments, I see very good quality in this replica.

"...enthusiastic supporters of this brand..." can't be more shallow than that. You support a candidate, support a campaign, support a movement. Support a commercial product? It's like I support Brad Pitt or George Clooney. Liking or passionate about the watch I understand. Panerai's welfare is these sobs' concern? Come on. Do you think really rich people care the next guy is wearing a rep? It's those who have to save up to buy a gen who can't tolerate reps. Very narrow mind and heart.

dont you think they're expressing hate cos i mean, who'd like their authentic pams to be replicated and they look so close to the real thing too? And the quality of reps are so good these days, only a pam freak could tell the difference.

... and they go about dissin us who cant afford real pams. not true, i know alotta wealthy people into reps because they'd rather use the money for something more meaningful for them.

LOL

I am 99.9% sure fleshcompass is making fun of the paneristi and the post is very tongue in cheek. Viewed in that light I thought it was hilarious.

I find it sad that they actually would believe the crown guard is the companies biggest asset. Doesn't say much for what they think of the movement.

LOL that's definietly true. I know there are ALOT of us that can afford the gen's. I know I for one, could afford a few of them, but that is the LAST thing I would want to spend 4-5k on. I'd much rather have a nice TV, Entertainment Center and a new computer. It's just the way it is. If they want to spend it on watches, fine, but don't give me shit or make me feel like im "small" because I don't......

over priced

if panerai didnt over price their watches by 3,000 i wouldnt have to buy a quality rep. but they do, so i do. nobody even knows who panerai is,99% of people dont recognise panerai to start so whats the harm.im just giving panerai free advertisements by telling anyone who asks what kind of watch im wearing. i love all 4 of my pams and am going to get a couple of davidson mods so that i can wear one into a panerai dealer and show it off.....coolest watches on earth but way over priced....and so is the omega po
