It looks fantastic. For a moment I thought it was in yellow gold but the 116655 yachtmaster 40 doesn’t exist in yellow gold. I wish it did and the new 42 will probably be too large for my small wrist.

Nice! With the exception of the writing/second hand and the bezel, what would you say are the differences? Is the weight difference noticeable?

congrats, gorgeous piece!

it looks fairly similar, devil is in the details. shape of hour markers, especially rectangular ones, lume filling, length of painted minute markers, colorations and more, are different if you pay attention.

The feeling on the wrist was almost the same. I was really confused that the gen bezel is more ruff than the rep The big differences are the size of the hour markers, the rehaut engraving, blackhole effect and the 3D look of the hands

But rhe arf was a really great watch

Does the new yellow gold yachtmaster mean that in the future there will be a yachtmaster 40 in yellow gold

Or is this wishful thinking

Honestly don't know why they didn't introduce it already at the same time as the 43, the only reason I could think of is they want to hold off on it for another year

Congratulations on the purchase, I am tempted to get the blue version but will only go for the previous generation 116622. The latest model that you have is almost double the price at most grey dealers.
