I'm happy with this cheapie but can't wait to try my hand at a little modding as I really prefer the simple "gilt" sub dial.

It's the bracelet from the cheapie silix, I'll post up some more photos, I did think when I got the QC pictures it is better than others I've seen...

lol no brother it's Phong case MQ dial and gen movement superfranken! I'm still working on this so when it's done I'll let you boys know first!

This one was a huge heartache, but got sorted out and now back in my hands after several months. This would hopefully be a start. Silix case on a brand new DG2813. Plan to replace the dial with a Bart Cordell inspired gilt via decal printing. Still experimenting. Very tedious and challenging, but hopefully will be worth it. And that's just the printing and curing. I dread the luming part. Anyway... a few pictures of the base.

Base watch is a Hungaryrolex 6538 head only purchase. Then with a leather band which I fitted later with a Rolex buckle...


Take 2, now with a rivet Rolex bracelet...


An attempt at a frontal shot...


And hopefully the replacement dial which is still an experiment. This one was using a Laser Printer. Note that we can now read SWISS. However, I will use the Inkjet Printer version as the blacks are really black, unlike the Laser Jet version.
