Well, a 6538 demands a three-band rotation:

1. rivet bracelet
2. Bond "Goldfinger" RAF (*not* NATO; it needs to have a self-fabric keeper)
3. distressed brown leather

Personally I think $155 is kind of steep; have you checked Hirsch?

cheld just had a scroll through all of Hirsch's leather options, only one really fits the bill imho. The Ranger Retro in gold brown. Looks good but it's just not jumping off the page at me (not 'distressed' enough, perhaps?) maybe I need to take a gander at some reviews to change my mind.. However I did also notice it only comes in 120mm/80mm.. I have a real small wrist, somewhere around 6-6.25 inches, and a lot of straps tend to have a looong tail on me. A tail could look great on this watch, though.

PS, my 6538 is on the way with a Bond Goldfinger NATO, Rolex branded. Could be the kind you described but I'll have to have a closer look at it when it gets here. Rivet bracelet is also on the way with it! Just gotta find that perfect distressed brown leather..

Alhig72 I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and order that one, after seeing the watch in person that strap really jumps out at me. The long shipping time means I'm gonna struggle not to check the tracking everyday hahahha, but the straps you've included with the 6538 means I already have an amazing rotation until it arrives! Kudos Al, you're awesome.
